CNN.com – New worm relies on old trick – Jan 31, 2006
The worm, which also goes by the names Blackworm, Blackmal, and Nyxem, has been spreading since January 16 and is capable of infecting any Microsoft platform. This article looks like big trouble coming in the next few days. We will see. Cleaning the worm could be pretty complicated.

Well well well, thank goodness. I was expecting a huge scramble. We’ve all seen it before, DEFCON 5 – the latest generation worm or vulnerability, Staying up late through the night clicking away, rebooting, getting stuck on splash screens. I haven’t heard much about a huge exploitation yet, but this will help.
